These children reveal nothing more in their underwear than they would in swimming trunks. Now that Donald Wildmon succeeded in pressuring Calvin Klein to suppress this cute advertisement, will he also propose closing all public swimming pools and beaches?
Of course, Wildmon’s constipated morality has created far more publicity for Calvin Klein (much of it positive) than any amount of money could have bought. And original copies of this ad may soon become valuable collectors’ items.
